... and it's not even Christmas, yet! LOL!!! Finally replaced my 3 mega pixel camera, which I still LOVE. I had to upgrade, though. Got a better tripod to go with it and even got a better laptop for better imaging. All that to finish my new tute, which is actually a book. I've been awol from here and everywhere to get the thing finished, but it's finally done! Yay! Design and Create Your Own Cabochon Pendants www.etsy.com/listing/116501368/how-to-tutorial-ebook-pdf-design-andIt's my take on wrappings cabs. Very personal to my own style and way of working. The Carrisite below is one of the projects I talk about in the book. edit: Somehow, I forgot to add that one of RTH's own helped me to compile the book, Susan24224. She was a great help along the way and it wouldn't be the same without her help. Thank you, Susan!!

Looks Great to me and I don't have it yet, or know how to wrap... But I still plan to buy a copy so I can grow as I learn... I know it's not a beginner, but I found the beginner tutorial on here and between the two I think I may actually make sense of this whole wrapping thing... at least it can't be any worse than my rapping ... which really sux!! LOL

Thanks Daniel, for both your purchase and comment. Dad-- I don't want to sound like a sales pitch, but the book is really geared towards working out your own designs and provides some tips and tricks to give some nice finishing touches. I think it works well for a beginner in demonstrating a certain mindset that helps your work, no matter what level you are at. It's meant to be encouraging and inspiring to beginners and seasoned wrappers alike. Happy wrapping

And here's my plug--I've looked at many wire wrap books, and most tell you to expand and be creative. This is the *only* one I've seen that actually gives some real tools to help with these notions. Plus, it's fun to read, the photography is great (go new camera) and there are laugh out loud parts. What more could anyone want?

Tela,
I just downloaded your book. I can't wait to apply what I learn to my wraps. I feel that I'm getting stale. It's weird, though. I do pretty traditional wraps. When I get down to the 4 or 6 wires that I have to make curly/twirlies out of, I'm uninspired & just wing it. At shows people tell me that they like the "elegance" of my work.
I've never done any weaving or the other styles you use. Let's see how it goes...

Thank you everyone! Lynn, I think everyone, including myself, hits a rut sometimes. I hope something in the book really clicks for you and kicks your design muse into high gear. Thanks Charles

I've been AWOL for quite a while now and I had to comment on this. It's breathtaking! OMG I love the "wild" look of it. aaaaAAAAAwwesome!
BTW I've been gone for a while (as I mentiond) and I can tell because... and some may remember me as the one who keeps asking to see the backs of these wraps - any chance of seeing the back of this one?
