I did this one back in May when my brother was down. This was actually a piece of Bone his father-in-law collected back in the day. When I first saw it, I immediately said...Dino Vert! I decided to take a small slice off the end and do my brother an Echostone Set. I wished I would've had my camera when visiting with his father-in-law...you should've seen his Yellow Cat Wood! I was drooling like a fool. I will take pics when I get the chance to see the collection again. It goes to my brother...so maybe he will be kind enough to give me a piece or two. Thanks for looking. steve

Some fine looking gembone. That ones got the arch like I mentioned in another thread. Do you think that is from the yellow cat area? IMO, it definately looks like it. Yellow cat bone is very rare. Have only seen a few pieces of that so far.

Gorgeous set of echostones, Steve.
Does "vert" mean vertebrae?

Steve: That was an absolutely beautiful piece of bone even before you worked to its ultimate beauty. I would have been asking where back in the day that piece was found for sure. Woody

This is as good as it gets. I know the yellow cat is know for having banding but the specific colors on this one is what leads me to believe its yellow cat.

Awesome Dino Bone! How cool would it have been to have gotten to collect back when you could still find that quality!
