Well hery there fellow CP'er, I thought I was the only one on here with the other bug. I'm droseraguy here and on Terraforums. What is the name of your nursery ?
BTW my avatar is a baby I grew from seed. Nepenthes splendiana x mixta. Most all the plants are gone now just a few kept because I can't quit completely !

Here is a bog for you Helen. These guys have been my customers for at least 10 years. They discovered carnivorous plants on this journey. www.sarraceniaobsessed.com/story.html Brooks has to come over and see if any crazy cross breds have seeded out in my old stock beds.He must have 200 varieties. They have repesented about 10 percent of my income for 20 years.Again, only selling about 6 non naturally occurring hybrids. This lady's property is in a cross over territory where Flava,Purpurata,Alata,Luecophylla probably Rubra exist and have cross bred into super pitchers.Brooks is possesed by them.He is a mad man.

Normally they would have stung me 20 times but the elixer had them very sedated. One did get me.Ants are resilient to some of the stronger pesticides, but no match for the plant's poison.I trimmed thousands of stems that day and most had ants. One bite was not so bad.You are in Virgina? and probably have fire ants there and know what they can do Attachments:

Helen,it is the most killed plant i sell.It is the least maintenance and so easy to grow.Plant it in a pot of peat and set the pot in a shallow pan about 1 inch deep and filled w/water.Lots of sun.
