This is suppose to be Fenton glass. That's what I was lead to believe from a vendor at Quartzsite. There is such a thing as this on the internet. The Fenton brothers formed a company back in the early, early 1900's. But all I could come up with were molded glass pieces and no slag type pieces. Anyone have anymore info on this glass? thx..........gr

I've seen a good deal of Fenton glass... been there and purchased several hundred pounds... and they didn't have any with that much color variation. It's certainly glass but, may not be Fenton. Just saying, Michael

There is no telling how many combinations of color the Fenton glass company could have created in their long existance.I would take every bit i could get hands on.

James, I kinda wish now that I had gotten the rest of it that she had. I'm turning thatbig piece into one cab. Should be interesting to work one that big on the wheels. Just want to save as much of it as I can. A specimen display piece if you will.
Thank you All for your help and comments

NEAT!!!! Just saw this... Fenton glass made all kinds of high quality molded containers for decades. That may be from slag/scraps melted at the bottom of one of their furnaces... but wow!@! This is one of my Fenton glass perfume bottles: and another milk glass one - this is the 'classic' Fenton hobnob: Fenton was HUGE in the 1940s, although I'm not sure how they know it's a piece from Fenton vs many many other depression glass type of companies. Further, not sure it would matter WHICH manufacturer it came from, since as far as I know, there's no proprietary glass formulas for colors, value being in the shape and design. It's gorgeous no matter which glass company it came from:).

Kev... the white hobnob is so big, I actually thought it might possibly be a vinegar bottle for salads:P.
This I don't know... was there a commercial perfume that originally came in Fenton hobnobs, or were they sold as generic refillable perfume bottles? I also have a small collection of depression glass (ruby and cranberry) and old Wedgewood that aren't bottles (but I have mostly bottles).

Gorgeous Fenton glass slabs, Gary!! Have you had a chance to cab any of it yet? If y'all get a chance, please check out Helen's collection on her website. I have what may be a Fenton flower vase, not sure though, and a pitcher with a couple of glasses.

Is that milk glass? I'm not up to speed on the types of glass out there. But, that is a cool piece. Do you have the stopper for it?
