Found this agate online in another forum,but nobody can ID it..Some think its from Wyoming,some think its Texas... Any clues guys and gals???

It looks like algae in water. Anyone know what makes it so green? Copper, nickel, chromium? Very beautiful.

The green color in these agates is thought to be due to included iron oxides (Iron can cause orange, yellow, red or green) Chromium and nickel cause a brighter green color....Mel

Ok,found some online...It does come from Texas...It is called "Rio Grande" agate... Thanks guys..
