Way cool James! Is this a breeding from one of ur dogs? The lite colored one under her chin shows a nice ridgeback!

Those guys will be all over the place in no time. Its a potential minefield to go through our house at night, and we got only 3 at a bit over two weeks old.

James, how many are there now? Years ago, we found a small Irish Setter bitch running loose. She had tags, and we returned her to her owner. A week later, he contacted us, asking if we would like to have her. About six weeks later, she had nine pups!! Can relate to the minefield, Kurt. When they were being weaned, and shut outside, away from momma, they would cry at night. My mom would go downstairs, and pour them a pan of beer. Worked every time! We had one we couldn't find a home for, and decided to keep her. She learned how to turn the doorknob to get into the house. Dogs just amaze me, they are smarter than a lot of people! Jean

Mine field haha - good one kk.Congrats.Sounds like a future house full. What kind kk?
It is 10:40 AM and we are up to 7,5 b and 2 girls. We have one of the best lines out there except we sacrificed white up the legs to get super athletic. So we are famous for the white legs fault forcing judges to pick non standard white over displastic hips for example.Judges hate it.So if you see a white footed Ridgeback it is probably our blood.3 of 7 have white too far up the leg and not going to qualify for show quality. To the ankle is acceptable.I like pets.Wife does the show stuff.

Kurt, knowig my parents, they didn't keep anythnig BUT chilled beer in the house - LOL! If it was too cold when first offered, it would warm up in short time. There's something about beer (and if you like your beer to be ice-cold, like I do) that it seems like it "assumes room temperature" faster then plain old water!
Don't know if this is possible or not, but it certainly seems that way! Jean

James, yes, I am bad about that. Sometimes takes me a half hour or better to drink a 12 oz Silver Bullet. But when it's hot out, and I've been doing yard work or something, I can down one in about five minutes!
Ten healthy pups, yay, that's great! I hope mama is doing well. You sure had a spread of weights. Definitely see a runt in the second pic. Well, sometimes they catch up, but I think most times they don't. Will just end up being a smaller dog, not a bad thing. Jean

She is a first time proud mom for sure.Biggest danger is crushing them.Around the clock watch for 4-5 days making sure she doesn't lay on them.Notice the shelf in the welping box. This keeps a space behind her so that she cannot pinch pups against the wall. The two small pups are being fed to hopefully catch up some Jean. They are a concern. I see nine of the ten

James, what is the name of your kennel? Do you have a website for it? Love to see some more pics of your blood line. I really like the white feet, even if they are not standard. My first dog (jump on the way-back machine to 1975 - lol!) was (we believe) a Ridgeback/shephard mix, weighed about 105 in her prime. Or maybe she was just part hound dog, she didn't have a ridge (I know, they don't always have them). Gotta get a couple photos scanned, they are "pre-digital". Jean
Edit - forgot to ask, how are they all doing??
