Ok James,I'm a drollin' on my keyboard!!!!!! Do you think those are healed fractures in the agate? I'm hoping they are,but my Knapper will find out,I guess....

My wife has a roaster pan,that heats up to 500 degrees F...I've been trying to talk her out of it.I finally did when I told her I'll buy a new one than,she said "ok",but she gets the new one-LMAO...(X-mas gift)..
James,question for ya',can a guy heat treat a big rock too,or does it need to be slabbed...?
Got an idea on a 7 inch by 7 inch (or so) of Texas Flint "Rootbeer"..I think I showed you a pic of the idea..Or do you think I have to cook it..I know some knappers say its easier to work with if cooked.

Fantastic coral. That heat treatment changes it from fossil coral to gem coral.
