Richard and Nessa, my shortest runs in 60/90 are two or three weeks. For very rough and hard material, like hammer broken agate, it's more like 2-3 months. You have a lot of rotary tumblers. Have you thought about getting a vibratory tumbler as your next machine? I have a Lortone 33B and a Lortone QT66. Both of those can't keep up with my Lot-O tumbler. Once your rocks are done with 60/90, you can have all the rest of the stages done in a vibe in about a week. The other advantage of a vibe is that it only takes a very small amount of grit. I use 2 TBSP of 220 and 1/2 tsp. of 500, 1000, and polish. I figure the Lot-O will pay for itself in grit and electricity savings.

Thanks JG, that's good info. We have about 5 lbs of finished stones and another 20 in various stages. I am going to send a lot of it back through stage 1. I've been working with the local granite. We have a few pieces that are very nice; pink, black, red. My plan is to drill and set with up-eyes. Nessa will do wire wrap with much of it. I have not tried any drill bits yet. Any news there? Thanks, R&S.
