Thank you, James. I think I was at the pinnacle of cuteness factor about then. All downhill from there... Whether you want to see it or not, here is the complete photo. There were only four children in our family at the time, we each had a pony picture taken. I was just recalling how young my brother was then, this may be even earlier - possibly late in 1959?

What a set-up. The wardrobe is priceless. Could you be any happier?
I am curious about the straps on the front feet. Horse shoes? Or horse loafers:)

I knew you were a movie star Jean. I misunderstood your statement. You thought I was a movie star because I saw a movie prop on a set in the desert? Not hardly. I know that movies have their purpose, and I've seen my share of them. But, I don't think too much of moviestars (bunch of phonies that get paid way too freaking much!!). But I digress. They movie set was behind hurricane fencing, off limits. All you could do was see the thing. It was on a weekend, so they were not filming. Too much off-road noise then. A friend of mine has one of the pre-release posters for that movie. The original title was "Revenge of the Jedi" but they thought that was too harsh (can you believe that?) and so they changed it to "Return of the Jedi. This was in 1983. On the horse's feet? Hobbles, so he didn't take off down the street with one of his happy customers along for the ride. I always wanted to be a cowgirl from a very young age. I was in seventh heaven. Black and white paints are still my favorite horse.

The movie stars i have seen are mostly full of themselves x10. The ones that are humble i greatly admire.
I bet rockhounds have the lowest suicide rates in the world. Betcha Never met a rock lover that wasn't happy.
Poor movie stars are high on suicides. Maybe they deserve our pity.
The 'hobbles' make perfect sense. My friend is a farrier but i am not horse smart. But between me and the river is an 8000 acre equestrian setup. I ride cycle over and watch the many events It is a big to do. 'Chattahoochee Hills Eventing' -stables nicer than high end houses. Big concert and dog coursing venue too. Love dog coursing.

I used to do work that brought me into close personal contact with lots of movie and TV stars. I quickly learned that up-and-coming performers are the ones that generally are nasty, demeaning, condescending and mean. In most cases the real stars were polite, charming and genuine. It's not a 100% correlation of course but close enough to be a good rule of thumb.

I believe that Rick. It is true of many situations where people are climbing a ladder to fame or power. They learn the vanity of being a jerk. Leno, Eastwood , Travolta are said to be very giving of themselves. I see them around Atlanta on occasion and they seem to want to mix and be average. I like being to myself and would resent attention after human #2 or #3 interrupted my meal or took a photo. It is a curse in a a lot of ways i guess.
