These are from small tubers that survived the winter in a deep container.Taken toady and yesterday This is a night bloomer and one of the most infamous 'Red Flare'. Opens as the sun goes down and closes by noon. A near native lily called Colorata. A dwarf. I think this is Panama Pacific I think this is Hillary A yellow Thai hybrid that seeds out any and every where Another center This one reproduces by little seedlings forming in the center of the pad. Strange. Called viviparous. Spreads quickly by baby plantlets. Hope you enjoyed them.

Those are beautiful, James. I can overlook the bugs (I mean, we need them, right?), I'd give you that 10!
Wonder why the night blooming ones have no scent? The night blooming cactus I have are very strongly scented to attract pollinators.

I think that would be master sorceress - you would be a master sorcerer of wet plants and cooked coral. I think I'm going to try my hand at one more small hand-made sphere. But first, I have to find that danged rock I was going to use, can't remember (CRS) where I put it... Some place safe, no doubt.

Holly Molly James, it must cost you a fortune to get a photographer to go out to your place to take all those photos. Especially a photographer that is really good. Must be nice to have that much money but it is for a good cause. Showing your beauties to us. I salute you Sir James, you be da man. Thank you for showing. Jim

I had no idea there was such a degree of multifariousness in water lilies! Beautiful. Yes, their morphologies are wide and varied, with many heterogeneous constituents. Bill, are you causing trouble again? You know that you need to watch that, or else you will leave a trail of people scattered in your wake scratching their heads. Good job, James, you keep an eye on that for me.
