First, I have to stand at my light tent so with my ankle jacked up, I took these at the kitchen table instead. All the cabs look much better in person esp. the red bone and chatoyant red serpentine. This is a fraction of what I've been up to, but I already sorted, labeled and filed a bunch. The new wheels cut so fast that I have been doing about 8 at each time at the wheel. Sorry if this is too many pics for a thread. unknown agate from Roy Fudge Swirl Jasper- Rare stuff from Judy. Comes from Nevada. This is super hard and brittle, but takes a strange polish, like a matte gloss or something. The color is more like fudge. Burro Creek Jasper Chapenite from the Mojave, CA A stunning opalized Deschutes Lucky Strike Moss Marfa plume, also from Judy Mookaite- I love this one! OJ- much nicer in person Paisley agate- has a few small pits, but I really like it. Ca pet wood. Red serpentine in agate or quartz. Really, really cool stone. I was told this is a rare variant from CA. The red swirls are more red in the dark background and look like bowling ball swirls. Turkish opal- much more pink in person Willow Creek jasper- The yellow is more pastel in person and less green. Very pretty. and last.... a large beautiful flawless red bone. This is way more bright red in person and the black background has almost a metallic look. Very cool cab.

Those are all beauties, Tela! Hard to pick a favorite, but I think I like the first one the best! Or maybe the OJ, or...
Great work!

They're all just great. I'm always drawn to Willow Creek but it has some real competition in this grouping.

When you say very cool cab you are really shorting yourself. Way beyond very cool. Awesome job. Jim

Agreed: all are beautiful. What a lovely job on a lovely bunch of stones.
I collect and therefore always keep my eyes open for odd serpentine (our state rock). I've never heard of red serpentine!
Too many beauties to select a favorite! A feast for the eyes...

Thanks everyone. I'll try and get pictures each time, so I won't post so many at once.
