Awesome Ray! Glad you made it home safely, with rocks. Your bride didn't put you in the funny house! Top right. Starry Night Scheelite from the Princess Pat.

Boom, boom, out go the lights! (Sorry, just playing a little Pat Travers. Perfect timing!)

Great trip report Scott! If James is gonna be in your guest room for the next 12 years can I pitch a tent in your backyard for the winter at least?

Tommy, from you, that is a compliment. Thank you. He wishes. Jim would destroy the balance of nature in Chino. He has 12 nights - not years! haha I suppose that depends upon what kind of tent that is. Is it the kind that has room for a sleeping bag? Then yes! haha again! Bring your girl and we'll all be all over the So Cali countryside!

Hahaha I have no valid response to the direction this went. If I had an RV I'd threaten to park it in your front yard maybe lol

Heck of a deal, having to work nights to find rocks. Thanks for the show, scenery is great too.

rockncajun - the short wave lamp to hound with is a very inexpensive proposition except for the filter. Has anyone played around with unfiltered lamps? quartz - much nicer at night in the Mojave desert this time of year. More snakes active, but much nicer weather.

I don't know, Scott. I do know that unfiltered light will damage you eyes. Even with filtered lights, it is best to wear protection.

I don't know, Scott. I do know that unfiltered light will damage you eyes. Even with filtered lights, it is best to wear protection. Yes, must where eye protection and not have lights directly on skin. The filter is specifically designed to allow the most dangerous light thru! UVC is called germicidal because it kills DNA! Must not look directly at the lights, even filtered.

Thanks for the report. That would be a fun trip. The fluorescent green and the starry night are outstanding. I love Californis scenery. You can see the rocks.
