Oh yes. I just got in a 8:30 PM Frankie and the rural streets are loaded with cars. The open pastures within a mile or 2 are all rented out to campers. The cafe and bars in Faiburn, Union City are packed. As are stores gas stations parking lots. Taxi's and tour buses everywhere. many are not speaking in english. But no real problem. They seem well behaved. They just can't drive.

1 cop per 12 people is a lot? Georgetown in DC had 3 policemen per 1 resident when I was there.
Most nice subdivisions have their own private/supplemental armed police force, mostly from off duty cops making extra income, in every state as far as I know. You say that like they're the only ones, when that's true all over the US. 1 cop per 12 people is pretty low for a nice subdivision.

The 'self sufficient' Serenbe... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SerenbeWhen you are finished reading the wikipedia you will smell a stinch from BS. These people do not live in the real America. When i bought this place 25 years ago a 4 lane was planned to assist us getting to Atlanta and linking the rural Carrol county to Atlanta. The road has always been a race track as it is well paved and has a wide clearing. It is hardly used. Long ago several mostly black crotch rocket gangs started using it especially Friday- Saturday nite. You can hear them. 150+MPH and groups of 10-30 modes loud bikes. They ride right thru the center of this community. These guys are insane. Needless to say i think Chattahoochee Hills gave up on that bunch too. I laugh ever time i hear them coming. Humiliating poor Chattahoochee Hills, awe that's so sad. Oh well. Back to my rocks. Sounds like Portlandia East

Democrats don't lie, cheat or steel do they?

Georgetown is a part of DC, it's actually a neighborhood, not just the school (Georgetown the school was founded in 1789, but the area around it is called Georgetown too. It's all townhouses, no homes, and lived in by Senators and Congressmen and Lobbyists (who have the biggest homes).
When I was there, we went trick or treating, hey, all the Georgetown kids did it, there's no other children, they all go to Boarding Schools. Anyway, about 90+ of the homes really do have English Butlers and French maids... complete with costumes (er... uniforms).
The Butlers would come to the doors with a MASSIVE sterling bowl, filled with candy, wearing the piped British white gloves (think Bugs Bunny)... not regular candy, but imported Belgium chocolates and authentic English toffees... in their imported boxes (like 4 piece Godiva chocolate boxes). And if you took 1 box, the Butlers would smile and say... take more, we have plenty:). In 2 blocks, we'd fill a pillow case full of the most expensive candies in the world, and then go get drunk at the Pub.
THAT's Georgetown.
Oh, and when I was at Georgetown, I was Republican, as were ALL my friends. Georgetown is Jesuit. Jesuits are Republicans. Jesuits, as in Spanish Inquisition Jesuits. Yes. The same order, alive and kicking.
Just because graduates became smart enough to convert to Democrats doesn't mean the entire school isn't VERY Republican. It absolutely is. You are talking about one of the bastions of Capitalism and me me me rich people. A LARGE chunk of my classmates were driven to school in limos and followed around by their personal bodyguards. Believe me, they were Republican.

[ I like Helen's inference to what you said Billy. All the sudden Georgetown becomes republican when heavy police protection exists.
in·fer·ence [in-fer-uhns, -fruhns]
the process of arriving at some conclusion that, though it is not logically derivable from the assumed premises, possesses some degree of probability relative to the premises.

I can hear them from here today Brad. Sounds like techno/rave/euro/mysticism in a cartoon-unique mix.. Over and over and over as if ecstasy is the chemical of choice. Or they ate to much candy. That music is void of any soul or meaning. But that's their music and i respect that. Sounds like they are having fun. I do not hear ambulances, that's good. A 200 acre venue about 2000 feet behind my house was started 15 years ago and they did a good many unique followings back there for years. It was a failed christmas tree farm. If you entered it on a cloudy day you could get very lost as the trees were 20 feet tall and panted in rows about 7 feet apart. A bizarre enviro but perfect for camping under a simple tarp. Ha, namely was the harvest moon concerts where the music was played from sun-down to sun-up. There is a block of land around me and that venue that has no neighbors for several miles except one direction. So they got away w/the noise. ACDC, southern rock bands, other big guys played back there. I went any time i wanted to. Had to barricade my driveway or put with a flow of lost folks. That 200 acre venue started the concert wave around here. The Bouckaert Farm is for real at 8000 acres. Mostly for horse events. The stables are brick and look like tudor mansions. It is usually open. I get on my bike and ride around the gravel roads. It has 6 miles of river frontage and is a real pretty place.

must be really dangerous in georgetown to need one cop for every three people.
In my town Chino, CA we have less than one cop for every 300 people. We have very good coverage.
So, to answer your question yes 1-3 is a LOT of police.

Yes but not as loud as past concerts. The wind plays a big role as to how the sound travels too. Never hear sirens here. There is a load of people. I went to downtown Atlanta for the day.
