yes these I would consider smaller eggs. The bigger ones are around 3" or little more. There are quite a few that size.

Even though these might be considered smaller eggs, I think some of the eggs I have are average size for their location, like eddy bed.

If you click the link right under the photo there is more pics with a ruler used to see size.
