*Lets out a huge contented sigh and smiles really big*  This is the first wire wrap I've done since the end of August, before my right wrist surgery. I think it turned out really wonderfully and it felt great to get back to doing what I love! It's good to be back  What do you all think? - Krista Quartz Geode Slice wrapped in round, square and twisted Gold Filled wire.  |

The surgery went VERY well! It didn't affect your wrapping skills at all. By the contrary, I'd say.

Krista, that is a BEAUTIFUL piece! I'd say the doc did you a solid and threw in something extra. LOL! Seriously though, no one would ever know you just had surgery.

That is a great wrap. I think the twisted wire compliments the swirls in the stone perfectly.

Thank you everyone!!!! I actually just got a comission from someone to make a similar wrap so as soon as wire gets here from RioGrande I'll post some more work Thank you again for the compliments, I was so worried about not being able to wire wrap after surgery. Getting back to it really is just the best feeling ever. I lost about 40% of wrist range of motion so it was daunting to get the courage up to try, seems to be okay though Krista |
