Well, my hands are doing much better... YAY! Don't need daughter's hand anymore, either. Here are my latest: 9cttw blue topaz earrings Large asymmetric cut chatoyant malachite Mohawkite- really rare and hard to photograph Another rare one- anthracite or peacock coal. This thick stone proved a challenge to wrap. It is quite delicate, so it couldn't be wrapped too tight. Looks like oil on water. Even I was impressed when I finished this one. I was like- Did I do that? LOL! This is a sweet cab of Maw sit sit with a Russian chrome diopside. Another rare one... Turkish opal. Thanks for looking

Stunning again Tela. And good to hear that your hands continue to improve. Jim Thanks Jim. I had to get my second shot yesterday and dh dropped the syringe pen and broke it. I almost cried. The company is sending me a replacement though so that's super cool. I got to take the shot meant for the next 2 weeks. I must say, it really seems to be working. Not only my hands are clearing but my joints are better, too. I have the psoriatic arthritis to go with. I've been so stoked that I have been wrapping a storm. Now, I just need a few nice days to do some cabbing. Whoo hoo!

Not only are the wraps top-notch but you work with some very nice and interesting materials. All are great but for me the the Maw-Sit-Sit/C. Diopside takes the Blue Ribbon and the very fine malachite piece is runner-up.
I'm very happy you're finding relief from your hand problems. What an awful affliction!

Wow, stunning, all of them. The Malachite nearly has a hologram effect. Love it. Mohawkite and coal come close second for me, but then again so do several others.

Beautiful all. The Malachite and Mohawkite are my favorites. I hope you were cautious when working the Mohawkite. It has some toxic ingredients, the dust should not be inhaled. You captured that beautiful metalic matrix in your picture beautifully.

Thanks everyone I only cabbed the opal- haven't done much cabbing recently. Even though I cab, I still buy the stones that I fall in love with.

Wow Tela, they are all beautiful. Where do you find such rare stones? Love the Maw sit sit, wow... Deb Deb- I have been collecting a really long time and I have some great relationships with some sellers. I bought cabs a long time before I even knew what a genie was. Thanks everyone for all the well wishes- it really makes me feel good. Tomorrow, it will be in the 70's. I have plans to cab for the entire day! I can't wait.

Excellent job. Especially love the malachite, one of my favorite stones.
Just for interest I think I posted a while back that there are actually two forms of mawsitsit. It is supposedly getting harder to obtain as well. I bought several nice pieces years ago because there was talk of the mine being shut down.
