Those are some BIG sticks, imagine the prep care they took before falling them. Here, pole quality trees are felled very carefully, and most aren't near that big, but worth a bunch. I hadn't looked at McDermitt pics on G.E. before, did now. The first one [most eastern] shows a little road about mid picture. We go out about 8 miles on that road. Glad you liked them, put the pic up as a comparison, not a competition. It's about 170 miles from Burns, OR to preferred camp, terrain all about the same. Gets boring after about 2 trips. Why we don't go east to hunt rocks now: Jake called from sunstone mine yesterday, top of one tailings pile gets coverage, -28F Sunday morning. He said "don't eat yellow popsicles." Larry
