This place is really going to crap, isn't it. We've got a couple raccoon rest stops out back, lots of cherry pits in season, everything else out of season.
Like those carved schrooms a lot, good idea with some nice material, and lots of work.
Fellow a couple miles from here has about a two-acre pond, full of bass. Said one day he watched mom duck and about half a dozen chicks head out across the pond. One by one, the chicks disappeared, mom and only one little one made it across.

A great float trip near Lake George FL.(Juniper Spings) has retired ladies running the park. They were being driven crazy by a couple of coons. They would give Vicoden/Codeine to the coons at shift start.
The ladies were bragging about it. The coons were asleep. Maybe cruel but effective. I had to laugh.
Absolute fact that a bass will eat ducklings. Yep. I know it's a fact Larry.

Fish and deer stomachs tell stories Fossilman. LOL. Caught a nice northern pike in ND,it was bulging in the stomach,so when I fillet it,I gutted it too,found a small duck in its stomach.... Gutting deer I always slice open the stomach,see what they were eating,than go hunt that area where they are dining.....Simple solution for a great hunt... Those deer are at risk when you find out where chow is. Can be a smelly job going in that part of a deer. |

Shelby is a crazy cool guy! As been bit so many times by water moccasin's,that it doesn't bother him in the least! Wrestles gators too,makes the Turtle man look like boy scout.....LOL
