I am not sure what this material is but it sure was fun to cab. Could it be teepee canyon? Thanks for looking Chuck

Chuck that is truly fantastic. Superlatives don't seem like enough.
Nice work indeed.

Awesome! Teepee or Dryhead. Without seeing the color of the matrix portion, it's hard to tell....Mel

I love it when I have the opportunity to work with an open druzy and you did a FANTASTIC job!!! The last time I did one with an open druzy was with a slab of OJ. I have to look around to see if I still have that cab (relatives always seem to take souvenirs LOL) and I will post a picture of it. Though it was not as nice as yours.

1 in a 1000. That has to be a challenge to cut that in position

Echoing everyone else's comments that is an awesome cab. I haven't figured out how to get rid of polish in pockets or cracks, so I assume when working with druzy pockets do you avoid polish and do all sanding with finer grit belt/wheels.

I used to have that problem with aluminum oxide on felt pads but now its a piece of cake using diamond nova wheels right up to 14,000. Chuck
