my machine can handle up to 8" wheels
but I use 1” wide 6" dia. S/C wheels
as far as my experiment went
I used a REAL worn out S/C wheel
the wore out diameter is only 2"
but that’s the wonder S/C wheels
they cut as good new
--as worn down
The date I bought the wheel
Is Nov. 22, 2008
It as ground lots of rock!
So I’m not getting as much surface speed
As I could if the wheel was truly 6” diameter?
If I recall my pi wheel surface speed theorem correctly
I was going to buy a black S/C 1" wide 8" wheel
From Rodney at the Flagg show
great price!
But the weight of it was too much
my Lortone arbor needs bearing
It starting to make noise
But it’ll get me through the rock season
Thanks for asking
