Scott, re: the image you edited into your earlier post about the 55 ct. (whoo!) stone, the only question is what was the main light source? All CC stones tend to show two colors in images, but the primary light source determines the most prominent color. No clue. I stole it from the seller's website. Regarding you being critical? Please, and thank you. I accept your input. Failing that your discussion is thought provoking. I enjoy it. That 11 gram stone is (to me anyway) clearly photo shop enhanced. Saturation of colors do not look anything like the stone. My pieces were cut from the same boule. Next photo session will include wifey's Brazilian Alex.

I love the stone!!!! That is about as close as I will ever get to what is supposed to be my birth stone. I love the cut!! What size is this one? The photography is pretty doggone awesome too!

I love the stone!!!! That is about as close as I will ever get to what is supposed to be my birth stone. I love the cut!! What size is this one? The photography is pretty doggone awesome too! That one is 4.9 carats. Donnie, laser alexandrite is a stone that is attainable to the masses. I have two 5mm rounds in the same cut. If you want to own them, PM me. I am not aggressive enough to PM you.
