Don't know if this is some kind of granite or what. It's sort of purple and pink inside and out. First pic is wet. Thanks, Lee #1

The speckled appearance makes it look a little like a granite, or close relative. However, the veining is not typical of a granite. It may be something that was altered along a fault zone or fractured then sealed again with iron rich silica.
