Guess the trip mileage and win a box of rocks!

We did a couple of field trips this past weekend and some members collected material to fill a couple of boxes that will be sent to whomever is closest to guessing the round trip mileage of the collecting trip on Friday the 24th of Jan, 2014.
The trip began in Quartzsite and ended up at Planet mine by means of some back roads, then back to Quartzsite by means of a different route than the one we took in, plus we drove up and down a bunch of dirt roads and there was alot of loose dirt so that the tires were spinning pretty frequently. Diane (drocknut) has the mileage tattooed on the bottom of her left foot so we don't forget, so no cheating and checking out her feet.
No clues, one guess per person, whomever comes closest to it (either above or below it) gets a flat rate box of material from the Planet Mine field trip. The next closest guess will get the runner up prize which is a flat rate box of material that was collected from the Brenda area field trip that was held the previous day. You should guess to the nearest tenth of a mile (such as 12.3 miles). If you duplicate someone else's guess then the first post will win as determined by the time stamp. All employees of this website and it's affiliates and pets are ineligible for this contest. All taxes and duties are the responsibility of the winning party.
This contest will end at midnight on Feb 1st and the winners will be announced on the following day.
