Only 8 more weeks! Roy, I think we changed our minds about the motel in Homedale idea. We will most likely be on the ground or close to it in our little tent. Y'all might have to take a crane and hoist me to vertical, pour coffee down my gullet 1st thing AM though, LOL. How early on Friday 4/25 are people arriving? Deciding if Elizabeth needs to get a day off Thursday evening.

Rockoonz, I'm still planning on coming, not sure which day I can get there, I am thinking I may see if I can leave Wednesday evening the 24th from CO and power through to the Owyhee Mountains by sometime early-ish on the 25th (~13 hours for me) I'm not a hot and spicy kind of guy myself, but don't let that stop you from turning up the heat if everyone else's into it. I'll keep updated/updating here as things develop. My wife has a big test for work the end of April which has a small potential of causing a conflict but it should be done before then. It would just shorten my stay if she can't get it scheduled in time.

I'm hoping to help John with part of that drive, but I gotta get to Colorado first! I do like some spicy food so keep the hot items on the menu. Going to West Texas this weekend, so a trip up to the NW in April would make a fantastic start to a year of rockhunting!!!

Looks like we will probably drive over the Mts into Ontario and get a cheap room there Thursday nite so we will be relatively fresh Friday morning. We will see if I remember the way to the thunderegg site on the ridge a little ways up the creek, been a lot of years.

Hey I like food! Anything I can stick a fork in or get a spoon under is good to eat! LOL
Hey Roy and Tony I found a virgin Geode bed in southern Az. on a cattle ranch. Transfer truck loads of them covering the ground!!!! Purty inside on the few I broke open. Got Mark a box and me one. Can I sell a few truckloads to someone or is the market not so good on geode/thunder eggs. Whats the difference anyway?
