Just bought a point from a gentleman in California,my second buy from him-he does excellent work..... This is a lavender colored piece of "Goldfield Jasper"...  |

That is one nasty serrated edge and an incredibly sharp and thin tip. Must have been quite the craftsman.
I can only imagine the "shattered nerves" as the knapper finishes a piece like that. Every last strike could be the last one. Literally, the last one for the piece, if things go bad.
