I sold two pendants this morning and did my usual, sending a thank you note, and didn't think too much more about it. Then I got this message:
It brought a tear to my eye. (My own father's death is still fresh for me after many years.) It really made me stop to think- and not for the first time- the difference we make in people's lives by our simple acts of creation. We take what we do for granted sometimes, I think, but to other people these handmade treasures have meaning. It is, also, yet another good reason to always put our best efforts forward.
Anyway, I was so touched, I just had to share. I'm sure we all have these kinds of stories.
Thank you- the pendants are beautiful! Our family is dealing with the recent death of my husband and I am purchasing these for our young adult kids. Father's day is a little tough for us and the Azurite may offer a little added spiritual lift. I know they will treasure them! Thank you again!
