I sold two pendants this morning and did my usual, sending a thank you note, and didn't think too much more about it. Then I got this message:
It brought a tear to my eye. (My own father's death is still fresh for me after many years.) It really made me stop to think- and not for the first time- the difference we make in people's lives by our simple acts of creation. We take what we do for granted sometimes, I think, but to other people these handmade treasures have meaning. It is, also, yet another good reason to always put our best efforts forward.
Anyway, I was so touched, I just had to share. I'm sure we all have these kinds of stories.

hear hear.. you never know how you might touch somebody. Handmade things are always of more value than those that are mass produced. Nice story. : )
