I would say that as long as the bail is near the top and the pendant hangs flat with the bail on the back it should work.

I like it! I keep trying to make my pendants for gentlemen simpler and simpler and this is great!

the cab and wrap are your usual high quality work. It will all depend on how it hangs on the chain or cord... looks like it might go on a wide ribbon or a strap, to present as a bracelet, maybe a series of them could be used as charms, even. Good idea for obtaining a different look, it seems like it has lots of real good possibilities. I so admire your creativity!

Hey Tela, I like it a lot... This would be a good style for a man's pendant... Wonderful as usual.. Deb

Who was the first person to see it, your grand daughter? heehee just a guess. Well I have to say that when I look at a Tela creation I expect to see a beautiful bail and so my visceral reaction was to feel like something was missing and I didn't like it. The more I look at it and think about it however the more I'm growing OK with the concept and liking it - I could see that best worn with a black or brown leather cord - it almost reminds me of a new spin on the bolo.
Is the pendant reversible? ie: can you wear it upside down from how you are displaying it? Probably not based on the way its leaning but I would think that might be a valuable selling point if it's possible to work it into the design.

Definitely different and unique. I'm so used to seeing bails that it looks funny to me but also very cool.

Anything to be new and refreshing is OK by me. The first rule of being an entrepreneur is to "not do what everyone else is doing". This is proof positive.

Would love to see how you finished the bail. I've made some like this with the bottom of the bail open so you can slip it over a strand of beads. Your looks much sleeker than mine did

Personally, I think going "bail-less" suits your style! Don't know who wouldn't like it, but we all have opinions Happy you're considering a tutorial, that way I won't spend hours and hours trying to duplicate it!

Thanks everyone. It's been a while since I've done a tute. I'm a bit rusty. After I get a few more of these done, I'll start work on it.
