I didn't know if I should add more pictures to the Big Fun Tumbling Contest Poll or make my own thread. I decided to make my own. Feel free to add yours here if you want to. The whole batch, except the ones that aren't done yet. Two apache tears I'm not sure what this is. It looks sort of like a Bahia, but I don't think it is. This was my favorite rock of the whole batch. Some transparent rocks Some large pet wood Carmel? Some sort of jasper, I think. I had some of the eyes fall out of this kind of rock. These made it through. I had more of this green jasper than anything else. This isn't all of it. Anyone know what this is? The picture's a little blurry, sorry. It's gray and not super nice, but it got shiny. Is this palm wood? This one has a concave part with some fun texture. Even the concave part got polished. Surfboard These didn't get shiny. The white ones have some grainy, sort of sparkly texture. From what I've read, wonderstone is difficult or impossible to polish. Is it dependent on the hardness of the individual stone? Any tips to shine 'em up?

That top stone in the last pic is the bomb - shine or no. Is the color true? Looks lavender and beige on my screen.

Killer tumbles, you certainly had great variety in that box. I still have some left that I haven't started yet, bigger pieces that I recently broke up. Congratulations on taking second place in the contest. You earned it with tumbles like this.

Nice! That one that you label as carmel is also petwood I think Rob. I had one looks just like it and I am sure it is petwood. I don't think that one is palm wood, but someone with more experience with palm with chime in.

See, this is why I love this forum. Few of my friends would "get" the joy of jumping into a tub of rocks.

Beautiful. I especially like the one in the center of the photo "I had more of this green jasper than anything else." I would like to see a photo w/ less reflection, you make them too shiny!

I havnt seen any of my palm turn out like that from my experience with tumbling palm. But than again I have collected palm from 4 different spots and they all look different rough. I wouldnt rule it out, very nice piece though!!!
