Had one in a T-shirt that stung me in the back and while I was jumpin around trying to shake it off, it dropped down into the back of my shorts and stung me again in the ass *L*......Mel Now, that is a visual I didn't need. Big ole galoot Mel break dancing in the effort to get a scorpion off his back!!

No, no I must not look.........and then peek from between my fingers!! Gads, I won't be forgetting those photos anytime soon. Reminds me of how I felt the first time I saw the rattle snakes all rolled up in balls at Bear Trap. It is not something that you forget. Thanks for that share.......

That's super interesting. We have tons of jumping spiders on our property right now. Their movement really creeps me out. I've grown to accept spiders though, and I don't mind if insects bite me, but I just don't want to see them on or near me. I do field work for my local little league and going in the back of the tiny, dark field sheds is a terrifying experience, home to the biggest spiders you ever find here. I live with many muscovy ducks and they like to catch mosquitos, which is nice. Not a jumping spider, just some house one (no killer spiders up here I don't think, fortunately) I photographed fighting a moth the other night.
