That's super interesting. We have tons of jumping spiders on our property right now. Their movement really creeps me out. I've grown to accept spiders though, and I don't mind if insects bite me, but I just don't want to see them on or near me. I do field work for my local little league and going in the back of the tiny, dark field sheds is a terrifying experience, home to the biggest spiders you ever find here.

I live with many muscovy ducks and they like to catch mosquitos, which is nice.

Not a jumping spider, just some house one (no killer spiders up here I don't think, fortunately) I photographed fighting a moth the other night.
