Think I'd go for the chaps, too. Better leathered than shreddered. OK that sucked, but you get the idea, Whats the temp like in my old stomping ground?

Temps here have been incredibly mild all spring.......until this week. Now we're starting to experience the usual Texas heat. I think Sat. is supposed to be pretty, but I bet it will be hot!

"Better leathered than shreddered" Good one, Cookie! My trusty weatherbug says it will be 89 and partly cloudy on Saturday. Of course, it has been wrong before, so I don't take that as gospel. I do hope it is somewhat cloudy - that will keep it a bit cooler. We have had a nice spring, all the rain has really kept the temps down, but now looks like the rain is gone, it will be hot as a firecracker soon, and by July, we will be begging for just a drop or two of rain. Everything is sure nice and green. Nice going into summer NOT under drought conditions for a change. llana

Remember the sun screen. I recall getting some of the worst sunburns of my life on the gulf when it was cloudy. I still worry I may get skin cancer because of it. Now I get spray painted (spray on self tanner using an air brush) and slather on the sunscreen cookie

Cookie, I know about those sunburns when it's cloudy! I got fried one cloudy day painting fence. Thank goodness I am fairly dark skinned and rarely get so burned it hurts. It went from red to brown in a couple of days.

Shoot, I went from red to purple to water blisters. I'm fair skinned, if I work at a tan very slowly, it will become a beautiful golden brown. No sunsceen...blisters. Then dark splotches, like big freckles. That's what worries me. They say if you get blister burns in your teenage years you are more apt to skin cancer. Cross your fingers for me ;D
