Gorgeous view, spiritstone. Didn't realize that those were glaciers. Hope we'll see some of the materials you found on your trip soon. Have you ever found any of the flowerstone?

I drove the Kootenays a few years ago, but didn't have time to explore too far off the highway. There should be all kinds of good stuff trapped in the sand/gravel moraines as the glaciers recede.

Darryl. I drive past an outfit that can take you in by heli, drop you off and pic you up at a designated time. Costs can be high, "pay by the pound" but it's something I've been looking at for a year or two now. More to knock off the bucket list.

Impressive video! Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
And I like the stone creatures.
I have seen that rock also called devil's toenails before.

so much beauty! The sound of the falls "in person" would mesmerize me and I'd never want to leave. So beautiful! beautiful script rock- it does sort of look like devil's toenails, but the devil's toenail rock I have seen still has pieces of shell in it... does that piece have shell or is it all turned to stone? LOL, I like the front rock sculpture, a stone woman ... those are cool. Were they there or did you take the time to make them? I see a lot of stacked stones on the beach but they are usually just towers.... fun to do. I like finding those a lot more than I like finding all the trash some people leave. Just a beautiful trip and beautiful photos, thanks for taking the time to post and explain. Visiting vicariously is the closest i'll get to a lot of places.

Thanks snowmom, it is a wonderful place to go. The rock creatures were all men until i got down there and I added a couple of little somethings. lmao They were built when I got there, and the only garbage i found was someones shoes they must have lost and went over the falls. Regarding the Script stone. No documentation found online? Could be a first for the books from here. May have to call it spirit script stone? No shell all rock.

snowmom this is all I could find on it. Nothing documented on this type. Not yellow like all the others but the shells-rock are white. The rest of it is orange, black and a brownish red. Thanks for showing some interest. Calligraphy Stone aka Coquina Jasper, Arabic Script Stone, Script Stone, Maryiam Stone, Miriam Stone Elephant Skin Jasper or Cobra Stone - It is a mixture of fossilized shells, Hematite and Iron - Combination of golden orange, brown and black - It can help you keep a cool head in volatile situations and to create positive results from a possibly hopeless situation. It is considered to be a psychic protection stone. It can help you access the Akashic Records and find information during past life recall. It can connect the solar plexus chakra and the third eye chakra to help you access your hidden power. It can help you contact your guides and angels. It can be useful in automatic writing.

the calligraphy stone seems to be a great match for your find. Different minerals in the rocks might account for variations in color. Yours is very appealing, much more colorful than some of the examples I found while searching. Will you polish it, slab it, or keep it as a pet?

I showed it to a fellow I know down south who is very interested in slabbin it up. I told him he can have it if he can just send me back a couple slabs for now. My local club is closed until sept so i have no means to slab up rocks that big. There is a lot of it if I need to go back for more. Thanks again for your help and the compliment.

I need to remember this and do more research. Wasnt too much a believer in crystals and such until I started wearing labradorite in m earlobes. Lots of good vibes and positive things happen
