I've been trying to get more wrapping done now that my Gene wheels are slowing me down. It gets too aggravating to cab. I'm working on a special project. Got 3 of 8 done. I don't want to just rip through them. I want to give each one some thought. Some of them are real small and I haven't done many smalls lately, so it's a nice challenge for me, too. Itty bitty! Fun wrap, but what a pain it was. I made every mistake that I could, but it all worked out. This is one of my favorite stones. (willow creek) It's not part of my project. I don't do prongs often, but this called for it. Thanks for looking!

They are a nice looking batch ready for a new home. Gotta agree with you on the Willow creek.

I love the itty bitty Montana. I have been using that shape on some of my smalls. It works well wrap like you have it or upside down like an arrowhead. I have avoided wire wrapping circles because it is so difficult to get the symmetry correct but as usual you nailed it. I posted a groove wrapped circle the other day, no symmetry to deal with so it was right up my alley.

Tela - they look great you rock! (Tela's "special project" is helping out a wire-wrapping impaired rock-a-holic get ready for the holidays. And I am so grateful.... She is top notch to work with and collaborate with...) Drummond Island Rocks you are consistent, you keyed in on that same cab before Cheers

all very neat. I like the smaller scale, though it has to be a pain to work with. Itty bitty is my favorite out of all of these, every one displays your usual clean, precise, excellent workmanship.

I really like the how the swirls balance out the over all composition in the first one, & that Willow is super.

Thanks y'all I'll have more to post soon. I didn't feel like wrapping for the longest time, but I got the itch again. But, it's still a tough choice between cabbing and wrapping.

Beautiful work Tela! That willow creek is an incredible pattern capture - I can't do circles very well but you nailed that one.

Awesome wraps, as usual!! Just come to expect that from you. Cabbing for me is just the opposite for me. Very relaxing, shuts my heads down just watching that rock become a thing of beauty. By the time I am done I am refreshed & ready to rock-n-roll my way right to bed!

So the first three in this post, along with 5 other cabs I sent to rockjunquie arrived today. All I can say is WOW!.... I have admired her work on the forum but her wraps are of course even more stunning in person. Her skills transformed my "rocks" in to heirloom pieces of jewelry. My wife, mother, mothernlaw and nieces will be blown away this Christmas. With the exception of the dino bone, all self collected material. My photo skills are remedial at best, so hopefully Tela will post shots of the others.... Thumbs up to working with Tela. Cheers

Thanks Andy, ( bsky4463) I can't tell you how happy I am that you are satisfied and that you chose me to make the first jewelry of your beautiful cabs. Awesome! Glad, too, that the PO came through for us.
