Ed, I guess we haven't been properly introduced. My name's Chris. And yes, my avatar is a photo of one of my 'gold in jade' specimens! Regarding price, I'd be thrilled to get a figure like that for my material, but at this point its all just educated guessing. Mostly. I'm sending a bunch of material in for testing/assaying so I'm hoping I'll have a better idea of what to do with all of it soon. leadbelly713, I appreciate all the info. Really helpful. I'll be sure to post any updates I have on this thread.

Hi Chris ! the results of that assay will be really interesting gold is so rare
did you find this material in river creek? was it on the surface? or did you dig/dredge it?

It's a creek. It's Barely a creek. Really small. It has a culvert that runs through my backyard and through a neighborhood greenway. I've panned it before and with only a few scoops from the surface material, found a nice "line" of really fine gold in my pan. It's REALLY fine with exception of a few small thin flakes. It looks just like the gold in my rocks. Super fine, but fairly concentrated.
