Thanks Scott still laying low - I got sick mentally and physically after flying home and I'm just now starting to feel human again.

Human is good!
It took me a week to adjust every time I came home from Germany. Japan too three days. Wierd.
Give my love to your bride.

Have I mentioned that it sucks to live in Florida lately? The craigslist for Tampa Bay has 5 items listed under "lapidary", and 4 of them have been listed for months! Thought I had a Thumler's ultravib10 tumbler today for $100, but it turned out to be the "light duty" model which the Rock Shed site says isn't for rocks.

You need some rocks. I have too many rocks. Two problems solved in one box.

LOL I'm good Scott, thank you tho! Just living in a sand box and having rocks as a hobby sometimes don't mix well.
Figure another 5 million years or so and we'll probably be able to go out in our backyards and dig for opals!
I would like to get in line though if you decide to put some good sized chunks of rough of this boulder up for sale.

Dang... my spidey senses were tingling already just from the wording used in the ad. Hope it's legit.

yeah, I was a little worried too. Dude seems kinda bizarre. Claimed he got it at a "yard sale" and used it as a yard rock. Now he is landscaping and wants to sell it, likely to finance the landscaping!
Claims to be a mineral collector and was naming many varieties of mo-hill poppy. This is "birdseye" and it has tiny eyes. I was worried it meant ugly. Could be 300# of leaverite and that is why no pics. Dude even got his wife to take my email addy.
Just checked my spam, he is not there.
