we will be cutting this soon, hope to get a video of the whole process from start to finish, hwill be making book ends from this if it makes the cut..pun intended..will keep you updated anyone care to guess the weight...we will be weighting it before cutting...

Man that is humongous! I did some work at a museum that had some monster Deschuttes Canyon eggs in the front garden and that one you've pictured is as big as those were. Can't wait to see it cut open.....Mel

well the weight would depend on if it's a solid egg or a hollow core, I'll say about 120 lbs.

yeah, what he said? Is it Hollow? 230# for solid 170# if hollow I suck at geussing weights, for reference, see braders dog weight thread.

That's some egg, 212# assuming solid, 185# hollow. A friend told a story abut he and friend finding one like that. It was too big and too far to carry, so they let it roll down the hill. Then even after watching it carefully, they couldn't find it. They noticed Leo's dog paying a lot of attention to something specific in the brush, yup, their big egg.

Don't know the weight, but it must be heavy when you have to push it with a plow instead of picking it up.
