First pic is 2.8MB second is 3.1MB and there’s about two dozen more!
That’s a pain on DSL, never mind Ed’s dialup. He’ll be hung up for a month.
File sizes need some serious reduction.

Beautiful photography and very nice rocks. I don't think I could leave the pebble field. I would be so amazed I would not where to start !

Such beautiful scenery! I love the pacific NW. I've only been on the west coast once for several weeks and really loved it.
Love the dallasite, such intricate patterns and colors, and their not even cut yet! Too cool!!

Headed your way over the Rockies thur morning not to the island, but have a family matter to attend to in the Okanagon. After thats done, off rockhounding for jade and agate.

Thanks for the comments! It's rain city over here recently. Total windy downpours. I love it. Do you guys play tackle football on those rock fields ? I must say that you have stepped it up several notches on colors and patterns. scenory and rocks a total nirvana, keep the guest room available They are only there at low tide. It is a spit area of a river on the ocean. Thank you for what you say, I have a dumb laziness of taking my camera out for 5 minutes in a blue moon and just getting random rocks. Thanks to this forum, I've learned way more about the rocks around me than I could have before. I am graduating from knowing what a rock is to what a good version of that rock is. No sunlight these days is terrible. I am so unmotivated to photograph without natural light. All other lights look yellow to me. First pic is 2.8MB second is 3.1MB and there’s about two dozen more! That’s a pain on DSL, never mind Ed’s dialup. He’ll be hung up for a month. File sizes need some serious reduction. yeah I'm out here great picture of what I did see My apologies! Great Pics. Headed your way over the Rockies thur morning not to the island, but have a family matter to attend to in the Okanagon. After thats done, off rockhounding for jade and agate. I'm jealous. I'm depressed with myself for not finding the time to visit the Fraser River much yet. I like Nanaimo but would have to choose Qualicum Beach as my favourite place. Senior community is my kind of pace. I want to find fossils. There's a palm tree on display they found during construction at a local mall and a few people have told me about ammonites. Horne Lake Caves is just north and I remember a story on people stealing crystals from there, wonder what kind. I haven't even found rhodonite yet. Too much to do. How can I have a job. Video of that palm tree, excuse the host.

Wow that sucker is huge. You are absolutely correct on the ammonite. I have a vid from crazy skippy that goes rockhounding on the island for some good materials. if you click on his youtube name it should pull up some vids of spots in your area for collecting. Enjoy and I'm rubbing it in now... Off to the Okanogan for a few days.

Is this Dallasite as far as the eye can see (mixed in with common stones of course)? This one makes me happy! How big is it? Those are all some really great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

In that location, I would call it more Flowerstone as far as the eye could see, mixed in with a little bit of Dallasite and then common stones. That rock is about the size of my hand. I'm glad it makes you happy. I like the webbing look. Thanks for the comments!
