I think you might want to use a flat head screw on the table top, otherwise it will interfere with larger rock. It's only a 6" blade and with the table raised (to even it out) the screw becomes flush and I won't be cutting too big on this little blade.

He means a flat head screw to hold table down so you have a flat surface to slide a slab across. As is the screw head sticks up. OK for geodes/nodules, won't work for flat slabs unless they are very small.
