Rock’n Hearts 4 Charity excellent idea Tom ! I’m in ! I can incorporate that idea into the rock party Have a rock’n heart party & support a local charity But I like your idea about folks donating money on gifted hearts. But it’s a gift --so I can’t expect them to. It starts getting political real quick Heck if folks donated money to charity some of that would come back to me I’m pretty rock bottom but things are looking up hopefully its not a meteor ha ha

they are beautiful and different, and the shape is just right, not too fat, not too skinny... the materials you make them out of add so much interest... keep doing them just as you are doing them. They are wonderful!

I'm sure some folks who are real picky might not like assembled cabs but I find your work interesting and esthetically pleasing. It's kind of neat having a cab made of two different materials that compliment each other. I think your concept is a winner.
Regarding sales though, I'm with peach on the placing orders thingee. I tried that for awhile and quite frankly, it almost killed me on the hobby. You get the orders and with it you get the pressure to produce in a timely manner. Always having orders hanging over my head spoiled the fun of it and then folks always wanted everything really cheap too so I had to deal with dickering which I abhor.
Best bet as I see it is, work at your own leisure and for your own delight until you have a whole bunch of extra stock. Then do the whole booth/show bit if you so desire. Post your prices based on your costs and need for profit and let folks decide whether or not they want to pay what you ask. If they don't and you see no profit at what they want to pay, go back to doing it for fun. Basically, avoid putting yourself in a situation where pressure to perform spoils the fun of the endeavor......Mel

Excellently stated Mel ! You know me well mostly all silliness aside your spot on about it I won’t ever let the craft become something less than what I really enjoyed doing it really means that much to me And I so appreciate your specific comments. As the longest reigning rock’ness member you’ve seen my work from its earliest stages. I started on RTH right after I began the rock’n hearts. So you’ve seen the evolution. Truthfully, I don’t think I ever worked on any thing as hard. And not just because the rocks are hard Ha Ha Anyway pal- I know your probably already feasting and I’m getting ready to Happy Thanksgiving All !

Thanks iant! Yes I have been crafting rock’n hearts for years I have a dream of Rock’n Heart Enterprises with a huge skyscraper shaped like a huge rock’n heart as corporate headquarters! Wonder what stones I’ll have the architectures make it from? Maybe out of gneiss? I wouldn’t want anyone to take it for granite! As side note: I tell strangers that I’m the rocking heart guy and people look at me kind of strange Then I remark that my marketing folks haven’t been doing a good enough job getting the word out mostly
