I have one of them from that location. Didn't know until recently that they were ancient sea life. One I have was a sponge. Hard not to have it cut open.
arrowhead Dave, that one in the video is big chunk for the location. Thing is beautiful.

Very nice bhiat.they can be tricky.ive cut a few that had all the killer swirly lines on the outside and were a complete dud on the inside,you know how it is though.always a crapshoot.when my local rock shop got them in i cut a couple,then went back immediately and bought all they had(like 50 lbs)now I possess all the mad river in austin(insert evil villain laugh)lol.they are trully one of my favorites. I hope you were able to get a good bargain on 50 lbs. Prices sure have risen on them in the last few years. Keep them coming. Cool, third last pic.

I know where some are at a local rock shop,but I just can't see paying $10.00 a pound for a agate....There are beautiful though(don't get me wrong there) LOL I might buy a couple rocks,just to see what I can get out of the cuts..
