Been kind of a weird winter for us, a lot of being cooped up inside. We got a stretch of decent weather which melted a lot of the snow, so last Saturday we went out wandering around looking for rocks. Temp was in the 40's, wind about 10-15 mph. Not quite like Quartzite but we got some fresh air and exercise and even found a few rocks. Here are a few pics. Cyndi wandering down the draw. Just a few scenery shots Just a chunk of aventurine. Wound up with a few of these to add to the pile. Guess that's all, thought I took more pictures. If nothing gets too weird, going back out this week. Thanks for looking. Russ

Nice local rock trip, Russ. I'll bet you just about go stir-crazy when that cold weather sets in. Good luck on your next hunt. Jean

Decent weather for a walk, nice scenery, and something to bring home. Makes for a good day.
