Howdy y'all!!! I hope everyone had a super cuddly or sexy Valentine's Day - depending on your speed. I am feeling great!!! I think I am finally over my slump. I can sit and wrap without dieing for a smoke. This was the last thing that still nagged me. Glad to be done with cigarettes once and for all. And, I don't feel like warmed over dog piss for a change, too. The world is good. I finished a few more, but I don't have pictures. Good Day Chrysocolla Malachite and Peridot Mohawkite Nambian Pietersite Ozzy Rhodonite Willow Creek jasper Thanks for looking

SUPER congrats on your determination to quit smoking Tela! You will reap the rewards the rest of your life! And the wraps are super too. That Petersite looks like a Hubble tele photo. And the rhodo is sweet too.

All are outstanding pendants...............Lovely, Lovely, Lovely!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on the quit smoking............been there and done that. I have been a non smoker for over 14 1/2 years. I could smoke one over a foot long right now but I know better. I don't have the smoker's cough or the bad smell. I do have the better taste buds and a round belly to prove it.lol!!!!!!!!!
But it's worth it............

Damn Tela, You make me so jealous with your wraps. Do you make the settings for the little stones or is there somewhere that they can be bought? And the silver cuff on the pietersite wrap, do you make those also? I am so behind on methods it is laughable. Jim

Thanks guys, I'm tellin' ya... It feels good to be able to work again. I got on a real wire bender and kept going with it. @wampidy Thank you : ) The gem settings are called snap sets. I get them at Rio and the bead on top of the pietersite is a cone bead. I was lucky to get one big enough to fit 8 20g wires through and it was also a good scale for the piece. I had never thought about using one before then, but I really like the look. Kinda adds a tribal look, I think.

The Namibia is so cool , I spent some time on goggle looking at more. Thanks for opening my eyes to it.

The Namibia is so cool , I spent some time on goggle looking at more. Thanks for opening my eyes to it. Namibia is just the place in Africa where it is found. It is usually just called African Pietersite versus Chinese Pietersite, which is more gold. Glad you like it.

Thanks everyone!! I won't mention the smokes again, but I assure you, it was a HUGE deal for me to quit after 40 years. I have really lapped up all your comments. I'm really proud of myself for this. Thanks again, it means so much to me. Sitting here right now working on another piece...

It sure is nice to see you posting beautiful wraps again. That Pietersite is my favorite cab of the bunch but I think I like the wrap on the Rhodonite the best.

Your wirework is so innovative. You come up with fabulous creations everytime. Congrats on overcoming the evil stink! Been there...be prepared to become an "anti-smoking"advocate.
