HAHA, Dr Demento is an old friend! My spouse was devoted to him, mourned him when he passed away. we're not worthy(bowing). Ya mean he is real ?!?

Well, the DJ who did the program was the radio equivalent of Svenghoulie on TV... the guy did that program for years!

I forwarded that dr demento link to my husband. He reminded me that the show went off radio and for a long time was only to be had as a sort of "pay per listen" on the website. Now it comes back to me. I will tell him about the youtube videos too. Thank you!

My first husband introduced me to Dr. Demento in Iowa at college in the mid 80s when we were first dating. Talk about demented that should have given me a clue that I should not have married him. He used to listen to that show all the time, drove me crazy. Fish heads was one of his favorites. Yuck! He also introduced me to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Im still recovering from that one...lol.
