Hey, Just wanted to let those who were interested know that I just listed fourteen new lots on eBay. Just a few simple lots that I didn't get included in on the last round. Only eight of the new ones are cutting rough. The rest are tools and lost wax pattern carving wax ring tubes. Also I relisted a few of the lots that didn't sell last week and lowered the starting price. If the following link fails the new items can be see by going to eBay's Advance search page and doing a "Seller" search for QuailRiver, then if you will select the "Ending soonest" tab is should pull up the new fourteen listings first. Thanks for looking! www.ebay.com/sch/QuailRiver/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=1&_rdc=1Larry C.

Link works fine. Would you consider a "buy it now" option on the flower jasper ? If so, PM me what you want. I really want a specimen piece of that material for my growing Owyhee collection.

Thank you Don for letting me know the link is working. And thank you for your interest in the Owyhee Flower Jasper! I often have buyers ask me to end auctions early and do buy-it-now sales, but once I've listed items in the Auction format I never end them early. I don't think it's fair to others for me to offer something at auction to them and then disappoint those who were interested by stopping the sale early and denying them the opportunity to bid after having made them the offer to do so. Also another RTH member, wannabefishing had asked about the Owyhee Flower Jasper lot that sold last week even before you had, and I had told them I would be listing a new lot and would post a notice here on RTH when I did. Just trying to be fair to everyone. Larry C.

This rock thing can become an addiction that can't be sated. And, is almost guaranteed to drain a bank account in a quickness. I passed the value of our house years ago, and although I have no where left to put rocks, just went to our local rock show today. It wasn't pretty. Picture jasper, including Owyhee, is one of a handful of searches I do daily on eBay. Some of that material can bring eyebrow raising prices, and that is a nice lot.

I'm slowly learning this... and what hurts more is the value of our CDN dollar vs the american dollar... we lose 20% value in the exchange rate! I guess i'm glad we have only 1 rock shop 1.5hrs away and the big rock show is 4.5hrs in Bancroft, ON (sodalite mines).. hoping that curbs the expense some, tho the weekend away for the rockshow will be a thousand dollars or so + rocks... i believe alcoholism may be cheaper Looking forward to seeing what, if anything, i can win lol

Better be quick Bob, I just found 3 different rare location Owyhee jaspers for buy it now prices. Soon as the wife steps out of the room, they're mine. I've gone waaaaay past the addiction stage. It's an obsession now.

Hey!!
All yours Don. With the damage I did at the rock show today, I may have to stay off eBay for a day or two.

LOL, I just dropped $167.00 on specimen slabs, and still have 2 to bid on tonight. Bad part is my wife brought home her fathers 3 shotguns the other day. I'd better lock them up.

Your link does not work for me and I cannot pull up your shop. any ideas? If you go to eBay's main page, at the top right corner next to the blue colored "Search" button there is a smaller button marked "Advance". Click on the "Advance" button and when it takes you to the advance search page, in the left hand column click on "By Seller". Then type QuailRiver into the block under "Enter User's Seller ID". Then click the blue "Search" button underneath. If that doesn't work with your system then try cutting and pasting this item number, 121588239190 into any eBay search field and click the "Search" button. This should pull up one of my assortment lot listings. From there look in the upper right hand block titled "Seller Information" and in that block click on the "See Other Items" link and that should pull up everything I have listed. Thank you for your interest! Larry C.

Thank you Don! I'm not sure what changes have been made that is causing people to have problems with these links using Internet Explorer and possibly other systems. I know some sites like Yahoo Groups and Pay Pal have been trying to reformat their pages to be more accommodating to smaller hand-held media devises and with some this has caused some compatibility issues with certain systems. Not sure if eBay is in the process of doing something like this or if the issue stems from elsewhere. Larry C.

WOO HOO, scored the Owyhee flower jasper last night. That stuff is getting hard to find. Surprised there weren't a bunch of bidders on that one.

My box of Owyhee flower jasper arrived. That stuff is gonna cut some very nice little slabs. And the 3 freebie chunks of picture jasper that were thrown in to fill the box, WOW !! Thank you Larry. With a little trimming, I can see an awfully nice sphere coming out of the largest chunk.
