mohs Ed, I will keep your mom and you in my prayers. It is good news to hear that she in good spirits and her condition can be managed with her diet. I hope she is not in any pain. Did her doctor say what the prognosis would be if she had the surgery to correct it? I understand why you do not want her to have the surgery though.

Love the garnets in your brain, Jan! We all knew you had something besides brains up there, lol. Was gonna say exactly what Roy said - Hope it all works out for you. Thanks for taking my words, Roy, now I have to come up with something else. Just kidding. But seriously, prayers, thoughts and well wishes coming your way. I wish you well, hope you are back playing with rocks in no time. I enlarged your scan but couldn't find any opal anywhere ? ? ?

Rick and I went to consultation with the eye surgeon this morning. Have a biopsy scheduled for June 8th. Dr. Cannon said that after looking at the MRI scans and reading the MRI transcription reports that he thought the mass was alongside the levator muscle. He wants to do a biopsy to confirm what the mass is and how to treat it. He said it could be inflammation, which I could take steroids to help resolve, or it could be a pseudotumor (fake tumor), or lymphoma, or ?? If it is a pseudotumor or lymphoma, it could be treated with radiation, and prognosis is good. To do the biopsy, they'll cut the crease of the eyelid open to get a sample of the mass. I'll have stitches that resolve. Cannot take any type of meds, such as aspirin, (long list of meds) for 2 weeks before the biopsy. yeehar. Greatly appreciate the well wishes and prayers from everyone!! It means a LOT to me!!!

Hey Jan, are those brain rocks pretty enough to cab, or are they specimen grade ?
I've just got one big rock in my noggin. Wife tells me it's coprolite. (S--T For Brains).

Listen, the Garnets in the brain are simple. Well, If you subject them to high heat, they pop like popcorn. Garnets do that. Stick your head in a microwave, turn it on high, and let them cook. In no time, they will pop and eventually dissapate. Problem solved. Glad you ok. My eyes are not my friend anymore and being a jeweler, that sucks. Constant need for lenses for everything. Then walking it is like I have vertigo. No cure either. I just deal with it.

drocknut, thank you and I will keep y'all posted. Hey Jan, are those brain rocks pretty enough to cab, or are they specimen grade ? ROFL, Don, I think they are probably tumble-grade now since they've been rolling around in there so long. I've just got one big rock in my noggin. Wife tells me it's coprolite. (S--T For Brains). oh dear, that is funny! LOL, docone31, and thank you! I think it's very important to take good care of our eyes and vision. We've had a couple of members that have had very serious eye surgeries lately.
