You can't go wrong with the 303 blades. Congrats on getting both saws. You should be able to get a lifetime of use out of them.

Thanks jakesrocks! I do plan on keeping them for quite awhile (if not a lifetime). Its still pretty exciting and doubt the novelty is going to wear off anytime soon! Thanks for that, the 303s and 303c both look like really good blades and havnt read anything thats made me think different.

Wow, congratulations joe!! Major score. Can't believe they went for the same price. If you are truly new to slabbing and big honkin' saws, I'd recommend getting your training with the blades that are presently on them if these blades have any life left to 'em. This way, if you screw something up during the learning process and bend a blade or something like that, you're really not out anything. Get new blades if you'd like, but if the old ones are still cutting, use them up. Even when you switch to the new blades, keep the old ones around. Ya just never know when they may come in handy.

PS = johnjsgems sells the blades, maybe you can sweet talk him into a deal if you're buying two.

Thanks captbob! I will definately get with him for blades ahen I do go to getting them! Ive cut on an 18" saw for a little bit and have used saws for cutting concrete quite a bit but yes I definately dont want to dish the blades or mess em up! My hopes are that there is some life left in the ones on em. Looks like alot of slabbing will be best for learning these saws

I rebuilt a HP 14 for another occasional member here and posted a bunch of pics several years ago, I'll see if I can find it...
