I think it looks like a Montana Moss Agate Shield that has been backlit.
Is this a trick question?
No one that quotes Neil would play a trick, would they?
Darryl.

The left side looks like jasper with those veins. The right side has interesting banding. Petrified wood usually come in all different sizes but in chunks in a lot of areas, so I would go with brecciated jasper. Need more suggestions.

But I've seen what could be called brecciated petrified wood, too, and also "shrinkwood." I was thinking that it was possible for the pet wood to form, brecciate, be healed and coated with th druzy bots as seperate processes. And the banding, to my eye, at least, has the possibility of being wood grain. I'm leaning toward jasper, but wanted to consider the other possibility. What would help, would be to know where the fella collected the stuff. Anyone else?

That is "wet" picture, and still pretty druzy. I guess i was wondering if Youngite comes in the brown colors.
I don't have a UV lamp. I suppose I could bring it in to work and use the one on the GelDoc system. It think it has SW. I don't remember, though -- have to go check.
