l cobbled it up a few years back copying one I had seen somewhere. I ought to knock out a bunch to offer to RTH members but I'm so overwhelmed in my career that I don't have the time. Maybe this winter I can make some. I hear you with life getting in the way. No pressure, but I’d love to have one. Beats the hell out of my plaster method!

The jig came today. It is a complete piece of shit. It is so far out of square that it can't be shimmed. Plus he padded the shipping costs and used trash as packing material. Here is a link to the PoS. www.ebay.com/itm/233788491157

It seems most useful to me to cut the flat Singleton Ranch nodules as I move the bolts around and to different depths to create a tight grip on the rock. My good friend has designed and built two better clamps for me. The first was good for geodes and symmetrical Brazilian Nodules. The 2nd clamp was an improved version to clamp mis-shapen pieces.

This one, when shimmed as good as I can get it, will rub on the blade on one side and by the end of the cut, it will be rubbing on the other side of the blade. This is to the point that it would eventually cut a groove in the blade or just wear it thin. I even made sure that my vice was square and it is even more square than I thought it was.
AND
Apparently this jerk-weed seems to think that I am going to pay the return shipping. If I have to eat this, he is going to wish he had a psychotic ex-wife on his ass instead of me and my videos.

Just open a return request. Either classify it as Not as described" or "damaged". Include the info on what is wrong, maybe with a pic. Ebay almost always sides with the buyer. Even if the seller says they dont take returns, or the buyer has to pay the return shipping, if ebay decides it is defective you'll get your money back
