I had hoped to get a few more done, but I've been wrapping at night and can't hammer when everyone is in bed. AZ Alunite OJ in 14k rose gold filled Russian Fuschite - really sparkly in person Thanks for looking

Love the Alunite, the Quartzite club has a claim right out of town. I went on the club trip.... Leader took us there, pointed at the steep ridge that was full of foxhole and said just pick a spot and dig. Did so all day. Never found a vein. Oh well its a fry heat to be digging in the desert so was not bad. I really wanted some, that stuff is beautiful!

Oops not fry heat but dry heat! On second thought let's stick with fry heat! LOL

I bought a couple cabs of alunite and the guy said it was rare- I had to ask him about it because in 2000 I bought some and it wasn't called rare. It turns out that, in the 90s, the alunite found in Quartzite was the more gemmy white and red stuff. The good stuff was quickly "mined" out. It is still found in a few places, it is just supposedly not nearly as nice as the early dig stuff.

Those are truly wonderful. Your artistry with your wrapping is what makes them even more special. I have never seen a wrap from you that I did not like, and I think to myself that is the best I have ever seen, but then you show your next batch, and...
Keep up the great work and keep on sharing with us!

Great wraps and I really love how you made the prongs on the OJ. For the record, I personally prefer to get hammered at night. My work frowns on me if I get hammered during the day

My work frowns on me if I get hammered during the day I see you are bringing new meaning to my work. BTW- My husband doesn't drink, so I get hammered during the day, before he gets home.

So many things I could say about the hammering but I will not go there. As always nice work.
