I have made some custom order large picks. Not a good seller other wise. My best selling picks were my small jazz style ones.
The mat is miners moss. I use it in my sluice to trap gold. 3M makes it. Also called spaghetti mat. You can sometimes find it in Wally world and pet shops.

Sorry about that rotten wingnut. Absolutely beautiful tumbles.
I think I'll try less AO polish my tumbles. Makes sense.

I use a shot glass to measure my TXP. 1 1/2 in my 10 lb vibe. Washed every 24 hours and repeat for 3 days. Small Jazz Optical Quartz. I see I need to clean my stand.

Communications crystals are Quartz, top quality stuff. These days its probably synthetic Quartz. But its still very much in use, everything that needs a stable oscilator or clock uses a crystal. You probably have dozens of them within a short distance of you. Every electronic gadget will have one.

I use 2 tablespoons of AO 500 and if needed 2 for AO 14,000 in a 14 pound vibe. Not sure why, I think other members use small doses too and I followed. But the 40 year old instructions said to use much more, like 1/2 to 2/3 cup.
