I think I've seen amethyst agates in a book I have. Post it on the Facebook group "Lake Superior Agate Collectors" and they'll tell you.

Jugglerguy jamespDo you guys have the pdf book called The Other Lake Superior Agates? I can send copies if you do not have it. Lots of talk throughout that book about amethyst pockets in Lakers. Great book with a lot of photos of non standard Lakers. Chuck

Drummond Island Rocks Id's are not my strongest suit. I do think that particular rock could definitely be a Laker. The agate portion reminds me of a couple pieces that came with my last rough purchase.

Beautiful job on those Agates and the presentation! I love the Lakers. You may have to make that last one available by mail.....Texas is a little too far for a road trip!
Thanks for sharing!

So, #4, #6, and #18 are rio agates? I'm seeing the light! Adam, Chuck says just 4 and 18 are Rio's. I am questioning number 6. Is this getting confusing yet?
